Slightly different loot system for ICC:
We are freezing TOC's EPGP list once Icecrown Citadel comes out. What this means for you is any effort you put in during TOC when it was current content will put you ahead when we go back and certain key items drop that you still need, without effecting your current EPGP level for ICC.
I will be storing the current EPGP list in an Excel file. You will no longer be able to gain EP towards this list, but any gear you take for Main Spec will be added towards your GP value and the PR value will update due to this and change priority over time. This list will no longer decay, it is only there as a way to give out loot that didn't drop in past runs with a priority to those that put in effort during that time.
As for EP during TOC we will be awarding EP towards your ICC gear so it gives you a reason to continue to gear up others and help those that didn't get items that would help out in ICC, e.g. Death's Verdict and that caster trinket off Anub'Arak.
Off Spec gear from TOC will go to roll and not cost you GP or effect your TOC PR value.
Now on to Icecrown Citadel. For ICC we will be changing our looting system slightly. We will be keeping EPGP as our looting system like always, I feel it is fair and continues to stop arguments about loot. The new difference is for Off Spec gear, we will be no longer charging for Off Spec. Off Spec will be given out based on how often you are required to play your secondary role. For example: Corak is really 50/50 on tanking/dps, so his off spec of tanking would have a higher priority over say Kharm, which rarely ever tanks. If it comes down to two players that play their Off Spec around the same amount of time or generally never in raids we will just roll on loot or the two players can discuss who takes it.
EPGP will be completely wiped clean for ICC, which is supposed to be coming out this Tuesday, so don't be alarmed if you see your numbers at zero : P.

Great job every, this week was most productive!
Sorry for the time used during raids to prep for the fight and phase 3, I honestly thought we could have made it to phase 3 in good shape, the conneciton issues of 2 major cleave damage and 1 misdirect didn't help though : P.
Anyways great job everyone and lets make sure everyone is prep'ed for Anub next week, I'll be posting a page with what everyone needs to know and have.
On a side note welcome Mel, Cix and Gary, it's great to have you here, hope you like your new home : )

So apparently the tabard that Qizzle designed sucks; so here is your chance to fix it!
Check out http://wowvault.ign.com/static.php?category=guilds&page=tabardviewer . There you will find a flash web application that you can go through all the different colours and designs available in game. Pick out what you tihnk should be the new Malicious guild tabard and put your design to the test.
We will be holding a two week contest. Tabard designs can be submitted via email to malicious@methodologytechnology.com. Please submit a .jpg or .png screen shot of your design. Submissions will be accepted till Monday July 6th at Midnight EST.After all the submissions have been collected I will post them on the website to be voted for. The winner will receive a prize of 250g and bragging rights!
Please limit your submissions to 1 per person. If you decide to change your submission let me know that you are resubmitting.

Malicious is now recruiting mature skilled raiders. If you are interested in progressing through the current 25 man content with other skilled and geared raiders and are able to show up consistently please continue below and find out if you are right for our guild.
What we are looking for:
- You are geared in all epics with a minimum item level of 213 (With the exception of item level 200 items that are best in slot till hard mode Ulduar drops; for example Darkmoon Card of Greatness).
- You are able to attend 2 out of the 3 raiding days each week.
- You know your class and are able to play it to the best that your current gear allows you.
- You know all the fights in the current content from doing research and watching videos if you haven't experienced it yourself.
- You do not EMO RAGE over gear drops and understand that you will get all the items you need if you keep showing up.
Classing we are specifically looking for (You may still apply if you are not on this list and are always the best in your current raid) :
- Classes that have a very solid 25 man DPS set and 10 man Tanking set.
- Unholy Death Knight.
- Shaman (Restoration/Elemental).
- Holy Paladin.
- Rogues that can kick.
When we raid:
Monday-Wednesday 5:15 - 9:00 ST.
About us:
- We formed up as a guild just as Ulduar was released.
- We are achievement *%@%%s (Malicious has members with the first, second and third most achievement points on the server and 5 spots out of the top 10).
- We love hard mode achievements, we were the alliance first, almost server first with 3 drake Sarth in 10 man, and Alliance only that completed Glory of the Raider that achieved the Plagued Proto Drake. Currently we are working on Glory of the Ulduar Raider including server first 3 tree Freya.
- We have many members that are skilled PVP players including 4 Gladiators and many of the top placed arena teams.
Loot System:
We use an EPGP system. Items are given out to Main Spec with the highest PR first then off spec. We use a base of 500 GP and award points for time in raid and boss kills. If you are not knowledgeable about EPGP please Google it.
Things you need to have:
1) A good computer that will not be an excuse for you messing up and dying.
2) A good internet connection that will not be an excuse for you messing up and dying.
3) A wide array of Mods that help you in your job that will not be an excuse for you messing up and dying.
4) Enough gold for flasks / repairs.
5) Ventrilo / mic.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
If you continue to fail in the raid for instance: you keep getting hit by lightning charges in Thorim, you can't turn your face during Yogg-Saron, you can't seem to stop dpsing while not in a shadow crash during General Vezax, or you are not able to maintain 2 out of the 3 nights of raiding per week.
YOU WILL BE KICKED OUT OF THE GUILD!
Naturally this won't happen after just one mistake... but if you continue to do the same thing over and over and over... then don't count on it staying in the guild for long. -
Glad to see we are starting to get some real regulars out and how well we have been progressing. So far we have cleared out 10 man Ulduar with many of the hardmore achivements and are working on General for 25 mans, keep up the great work everyone!

Currently we are going to be closing recruitment. After a few weeks of raiding we will see if we are missing and key roles and how attendance is. There are about 2-3 outstanding invites for people that wanted to think things over before the switched guilds, but other then that we won't be accepting any new raiding members.
Hopefully tomorrows patch isn't to hell'ish on the servers and we will be able to get into the new raid instance. -
We are a progression guild on The Venture Co Alliance side focused on clearing all content as it becomes available.
We are not a hardcore raiding guild but we are serious when we raid. If you can not get your game face on when it is time to raid you will not fit in. Everyone in the guild is focused on getting the content completed in the most efficient manor possible and not have players waste the time of 24 other people. Our Raid days are Monday to Thursday 4 Server Time (7 PM EST) to 9 Server Time (12 AM EST). We do not raid on every one of those nights but you must be available generally around that time. Currently our 25 man content is mostly done on Tuesday and finished up for an hour or so on Monday and 10 man content on Wednesday.
If you are sick of being in raids that take longer then they should due to other players messing around and not being able to play their class correctly and want to play with a group of players that are friendly and good at what they do please feel free to check out the Recruiting section and fillout the form there to get the application process going.
